    Yes saving works.

A littel hint in faster start up is to put in the ip of the profilux then it dont scan for the Profilux. Under General - Communication - Connection.

makes sense if ProfiLux has static IP - if automatic IP is used it is possible that this automatically assigned IP changes from time to time

does it needs a specific minimal FW I have 5.00l on the P3 but

I get an error while downloading the settings to file
    Error during reception of "COD_TIMER1_END7 - 0 - 11"
    (parameter number 723)

ps: just tried again , crashed again but @ other setting, comm monitor gave continues green line and there there were 3 black ( 3 failed comms and it stopped )

    I'm using the TCP/ip option

black line means bad transmission, after 3 failed transmissions ProfiLux disconnects automatically

-> not the firmware is the problem, it seems the LAN-connection is not stable
do you have some details for me? LAN?WLAN? IP? static auto? average response time...

Hmmm, I would be surprised if it would be my network being instable.
I have 3 comps, 1 networkprinter, Wii, PS3 , 2 Nas,P3 on the network (some wired other wifi) and they don't have any issue with the network.

average response was around 30-35 ms.
P3 is connected via CAT5 to my router and the host computer was my laptop (via wifi G ) in this case
ip is fixed DHCP for the P3

I will try to get some info with wireshark or something.
