What do you mean with demo mode?
Which FW version is the light on now?

I upgraded the LED's to the 6300 model and tried to upgrade the model to 6300 but it will not. The firmware is on version 1.20 now.
The unit says something like "Not for Sale. Demo Unit only!".
I cant change the model from 6100 to 6300 now. When I purchased the unit many years ago I changed the model from 6200 to 6100
with no issues after changing the LED's.
Now its saying that I have demo unit and its a not for sale unit after I upgraded it. Now I have changed the firmware back to the old
firmware and its saying the same thing. Not sure what happened.
It sounds like when you flashed the non-Mitras firmware file and reset with E-Flash the light dropped its serial number.
Can you please send a picture of the serial number of your light, and a link to this thread to info@ghlusa.com - Someone will get back to you with instructions on how to re-set the serial number.
Email: info@ghlusa.com
Info: picture of serial number; correct firmware version.

Thanks. I did just that.
Appreciate the help.
NOw I"m just waiting on GHL to reply to my emails.
All Fixed.
Thanks GHL and everyone
Thanks ReefClownMIA
Just for documenting. If you run into this issue with serial number during upgrade you will have to contact GHL for a procedure and reset codes to get your unit back normal. They will need the serial number from your unit and the serial number in GCC to help you out. Thanks again.
