profilux 3 EX restarts periodically

my profilux 3 ex restarts on its own sometimes without me touching it does anyone know what's wrong with it? will updating its firmware help i'm still at 5.14?

Start by checking the PSU. If the cords are pinched, then it could create short in the wiring causing the restarts.

actually it only restarts when i accident only spin the power cable on the back of the profilux. so if i accidentally nudge on the profilux too hard or move it around it'll definitely restart. should i still check the psu? what's the psu? is it inside the profilux? i'm guessing now there's a bad connection with the power inlet?

The PSU is the power supply block that is between the plug that goes to the wall outlet and plug that connects to the Profilux.
