    Default Mitras Lightbar and Profilux

    Hello,
I would like to control 3 Mitras Lightbars with a Profilux Controler. I have seen the Configuration 3 on the datasheet but could I control each ramp independantly with such a wiring?
Or do I need to use 3 controls cables to wire each lightbar to the controller? If it is the case can I use the power splitter module or do I need to get one power unit per lightbar?
    Thanks for your help

    Hello,

when you connect Mitras Lightbars to ProfiLux, then the Lightbars can only be controlled together.
A separate dimming of single Lightbars is unfortunately not possible.

    Thank you for your reply.
Perhaps, I am not using the right controller. What can I use to control each bar indepandtly ? In your product pages, you indicate that each Lightbar has 5 channels that can be adjust, which box controller can I use to control them ?
The Profilux has several ports to control differents lamp groups. If I connect each Lightbar to a different port, I should be able to control each lightbar, correct?

If you connect two Mitras Lightbars to one ProfiLux, then you can dim each light channel/ color of the Lightbars independently
which means e.g. all royal blue LEDs react the same way, all red LEDs of all lightbars react the same way, but the Lightbars themselves react parallely.
Even if you connect two Lightbars via separate RS232-ports, then they are dimmed together.
There exists presently no option to control the Lightbars separately.

Ok but I still have some questions :-). I am sorry but I'd like to be sure before to press the checkout button :-)
You say that the lightbars are connected to the RS-232 port? I thought they had to be connected to the dimmable ports L1L2 -L5L6. Could you precise me how is manage the Mitras Lightbar ? I am a little be confused. I didn't find the documentation in your Website and there is no indication in the Profilux user guide.
    Thanks for your help.

Yes, dimming is done by command sequences via RS232

I thought they had to be connected to the dimmable ports L1L2 -L5L6.
No. There is no 1-10V dimming

Could you precise me how is manage the Mitras Lightbar
You set it up as for any other light channel - with light composer or manually.
Now you assign this channel to the color you want (there is a separate menue for it)
Last you have to assign the RS232 to lightbar in system menu.
