Module resets when trying to send a sms

Hello,

I have a little problem with my sms-module.
I am running the latest firmware.

Oke, my problem, when the module is trying to send a sms it resets itself. So because it's resets when sending, i never get a sms.
I think that my battery is defect, but i don't need that, because i have a power backup running on my system.
Is there a way to use the module without te battery.

And i have a small question, what's the jumper for on the board of the module..

Hi

the battery is essential. If defective then it must be replaced, even if a PSU is connected.

The jumper is only for testing, please leave it plugged.
