Frage Feed Pause not working with 5.12

    Hi,

I just upgraded to ProfiluxControl version 5.1.2.6 and firmware 5.12, however when I press ESC to start the feed pause the pumps are not stopped.

    Screen shots below.

    Help please

    Cheers

One of the main changes in 5.12 was the possibility to have four! different feedpauses. To have this, the mechanism is changed how feedpause works. Read the manual for 5.12, chapter 6.4

To get the old status, start ProfiluxContol, open Extras->Feeding Pause (yes, there is a new menue for it), unselect all pauses except #1. Now you have to set the feeding pause duration and it will work as before.

Correction: I see, you have an PL2 with only one feeding pause (all said above is for the PL3). Mark the checkbox (pic #3) and it will work as before.

I tried marking the box in image 3, however that did not seem to work and on reading the manual you should only select that tick box if you want a filter turned off during feed pause, which I don't.

    Cheers

Shutting off the filter and/or any socket who´s assigned to filter function is the main target of the feeding pause.
So what else do you want a feeding pause should do?

I want the current pumps shut off, which used to happen as expected. As you can see in the screen shots I have set the pumps to be off during feed pause yet it doesn't happen.

    Thanks

What pumps do you use, how are they were connected?

I am using Tunze pumps connected through the GHL Tunze 1/2 connection cables. When I used to press Esc to start the feed pause I would see the % of the pumps goto 0% but I am no longer seeing this happen.

thank you for your detailled information, it helped me to find the problem

you are right - the feed pause doesn't affect the current pumps in firmware 5.12 for ProfiLux II (for ProfiLux 3 it works as it should)

-> I corrected this a few minutes ago in 5.13 BETA for ProfiLux II
