[SOLVED] PL6 pin not right - I DONT HAVE A PIN!

Im using an old version, 4.04, and when I installed the PLC6 software it keeps asking for a 4 digit PIN. Guess what? I dont have a PIN set up for this thing! I log into it with PLC4 just fine. Why cant I use the new software?

You must be running firmware 5.05 to run PLC 6.0

Thats right. System firmware under 5.05 is not supportet and can lead to failfunctions.

I WAS USING SOFTWARE VERSION 4.0.4 not Firmware. I had already updated my firmware just never upgraded the software version I was using, I figured it out though.

I wish I knew. I never used a pin before so I went into the 4.0.4 software (that Ive been using since the day I got the PIIEx) and set a pin then went into the PLC6 software and typed the same pin and it worked. Then I changed the PIN to nothing and problem solved, I don't know why but it worked.
