I have begin program arduino for simulate weather.
With your API ,I want pilot illumination with cloud. I want varried intensity, duration and frequency of cloud in function of valor of atmospheric pressure.
May be you can implement :
SET CLOUD INTENSITY xxx
SET CLOUD MINDURATION xxx
SET CLOUD MAXDURATION xxx
SET CLOUD BETWEEN xxx

May be you want integrate a atmospheric presure sensor in future version of profilux.
