Default Factory reset Profilux 4, cannot connect to it via USB

    Hi,

I recently pulled my P4 out of storage (since 2019) and could not connect to it via myGHL or the cloud. The P4 was probably looking for my old WiFi network which no longer exists. So, I used the manual factory reset option and the box reset and is now in German.

I have tried to connect it via USB and GCC to no avail (on Windows 10, factory cable, mulitple USB ports, 2.0 and 3.0). The GHL driver was installed and the device is showing on COM3 as "GHL Virtual Communications Port". However, when I connect to it via GCC i get an instant "Could not connect" error. Resrting GCC, the P4 or removing the cable does not help.

I have used some AI to help and have ran into a wall. It suggest setting the device number from 1 to 0. My version of GCC (latest, downloaded today) does not allow setting that value to 0. There was no Windows COM port ghosting present. Tried turning on/off the "Establish standard connection automatically...".

The P4 seems to boot up just fine. It is displaying a red slowly flashing GHL symbol on top; main display shows various probes, a half moon and a warning exclamation mark; the red alarm LED is blinking; and a green LED is on.

    Does anyone have any ideas?

I'll submit a ticket, but GHL staff are on vacation.

I cannot connect to the P4's wifi hotspot. It shows up as Profilux 4 but connection fails using "starfish" as the password.

Also, using this tool (https://api.myghl.com/wifi-update/), the reset to default settings and the update module options did not help.
