Urgent – GHL Doser 2.2 Stand Alone Unreachable After Firmware Update
Dear GHL Support Team,
I hope you’re doing well.
I’m reaching out because I’m experiencing a critical issue with my GHL Doser 2.2 Stand Alone unit. Initially, I was unable to access the doser in write mode via the app — I kept receiving a “No write access” message, even though I was logged in using my main myGHL account.
At the same time, I also received a notification about a new firmware update being available. Hoping this might resolve the access issue, I attempted to update. However, clicking the notification didn’t trigger any action, so I went to the official GHL Downloads page (https://www.aquariumcomputer.com/downloads/), downloaded the latest firmware (https://www.aquariumcomputer.com/dow...p-update-beta/), and followed the manual update procedure.
I uploaded the firmware.bin file and saw the “Update successful” message on the screen.
Unfortunately, after the update, the doser now remains stuck with a blinking white LED, which, as I understand, means it’s unable to connect to myGHL or to the internet. I can no longer access the device in any way:
• It does not broadcast any hotspot or access point I can connect to
• It is not accessible through the GHL app or myGHL portal
• I do not have a ProfiLux — this is a stand-alone doser
At this point, the device is completely unusable, and I’m unable to configure or interact with it at all.
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in helping me recover access to the doser.
