Thank, you Carolin it now is recognised as a P3ex !!

I never have downgraded the unit and to be honest never have upgraded it either, don't know if I should have?

I just put the ex card in and restart the Profilux some time ago now before GCC

Well I thought it was something simple and it was and am now very happy all is good again so thanks for your help once again Carolin

Ok thanks to Carolin I have the level 3 sensor working

But could someone show me the best way to setup programable logic to get this to work correctly I have tried the programmable logic in the previous post but dosent work? Should it?

If someone that is running this with GCC could shed some light on the proper way to set this up would be great.

    Thanks
    Maury

    Hi Maury,
It is relatively simple, however are you controlling the skimmer currently i.e. feed pause? Do you have a delay programed on it? Do you control the feed pump separate to the circulation pump? Etc
If so, then what is the setup of the socket currently?
Can you post screen shots of how the skimmer is currently setup?

    Thanks for the reply Antipodes

The skimmer is setup currently On socket 2 "Always on" with a 20 minute delay

It only has a feed pump no re circulation pump

    Thanks

    Hi Maury,
    Call me Paul.
    Your configuration is very easy.
    No programmable logic is required.

    Got to your level page.
In the top table select a control circuit number ( I am assuming 2 is free for you)
Double click on this and a edit page will open.
Select Auto Top off in operation mode. (others will work, but this will work as well as any.
Click on Maximum on time and move down arrow to read 0:00:00. (This will make sure it does not reset)
    Leave as always active
Select Sensor 1 field as 3. (This is your sensor you are using on the skimmer)
    Label this under Description
    Click OK

Go to the bottom table and note the state on sensor 3. If the level in the skimmer cup is low (LEvel sensor not activated) then the state should be -. If it is reading an X? Then you need to invert the level switch.

Got to the socket functions page select the socket you are using and change to fill water 2 (from always on)

Make sure you select save changes once completed.

I have tested this with a level sensor, so should work for you?

    Let me know.

    G'day Paul

Thank you very very much it all works as you said.

The only thing I done different than your quote below was in very the socket not the level as I couldn't find anywhere to invert in level settings?

    Is this ok?

    Thanks again for your help

Yes,that is why I recommend you invert in the level sensor rather than the socket.
In this case it will still work, but if you get more complicated it may not in the future.
Take a look at my screen dump below. It shows you where to change it.
