Frage Mitras LX + Mitras Lightbar on the same Profilux ?

    Hello,

I would be sure before buy:

Can we use both, Mitras LX 6100 HV (connected with the card PLM-PWC) and Mitras Lightbar (connected to the serial port), with single Profilux?

    Thank

In profilux control center there is only one "illumination->Mitras Lightbar" with one check box "Mitras Lightbar present" where we can read: "Select the communication interface for Mitras Lightbar in system"?

    Only one assigment chart.

Is "Mitras Lightbar" for Mitras LX ?

I will buy 2 Mitras LX for my tank and 2 Mitras Lightbar for my refugium.

    Thank

"Mitras Lightbar" is for the Mitras Lightbar (as the name suggests)

In general the Mitras LX have their own Interface and controller, so no PL is needed.
However, it´s possble to control the Mitras LX also with the PL, but you need the additional PLM-PWC card for that (and for sure a free socket)
    See https://aquariumcomputer.com/en-GB/p...plm-pwc-detail

    i will buy PLM-PWC
If you haven´t a PWC, it will not be shown

BUT GHL control center seem show that we have to choose between Serial and PWC
No. You have to chose between the serial function (for SMS module, RS232 connecton, Eheim controller) and Mitras Lightbar controlling only for the wired RS232 port. Both has nothing to do with the Mitras LX or the PWC. Insert the PWC and you will see.

    Hello,
I have the same need. want to control with the same profilux a mitras lightbar and a Mitras LX 6100 HV.
I have all what is needed to drive the LB.
    And it's already working.
I have the PLM-PWC connected to the profilux. But don't know if it can drive at same time LB and LX?
    thanks

Can you send me an example of project which drive both?
How you manage the fact that both lights do not use same channels and some times same chanel for same color?
    For instance:
    LB actinic:
    actinic LB.jpg

    Mitras 6100 HV:
    LX6100HV.jpg

So for instance the channel 1 is:
For the mitras LX 6100 HV: blue 475 nm
    For the LB: Red 622NM

than I tried to add all missing channels but did not succeeded because there is a limitation of number of light sources.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Houman,

When you go into the Mitras Lightbar settings page, there is a section there that lets you change the Illumination channels linked to the lightbar. For example, your Mitras LX 6100HV is on Illumination channels 1-9. You can set the Lightbars to run on channels 10,11,12,etc.
