P3 upgrade from old firmware 5.11

I downloaded the pc software 5.1.7.1 and tried to update to 5.17
and i get an error




What am i doing wrong ??

Okk, I downloaded software 5.1.5.1 and was successfully in updating firmware to 5.17

Now i think i have to get PC software 5.1.7.2

which firmware should i apply Now ????

If you have a Profilux 3, then you can update to the latest firmware 6.12:

But then you have to use the GHL Control Center (latest 1.0.5.8) - ProfiLux Control supports only until firmware 6.05:

Okay I too think it is time to upgrade. My P3 is Firmware 5.11 and PC is 5.1.6.0. I see the links to get what I need but is there somewhere I can read the how to's to do this properly.

In the PC-software under Extras you can click on the button Firmware-Update, then you can follow the instructions step by step.
Please read them carefully.

In case the update should fail, then you can also perform the update via Flasher tool:
