cant get simu-l to work HELP PLEASE

Well i havnt been using the simu-l for a while so i got it back out and plugged into l1/l2 and checked that the 1-10v out put was correct which it is if i setup a on off time in the illumination 1 nothing happens?

can some one help me out here
running GCC 1055
and firmware in the profilux is 6.10

i have tried re programming it making sure nothing else was plugged into any L port and still no leds turn on
do i need to use the mitras simu driver also? havent tried it yet just in case i am not suppose to use it

the simu-l was working fine when i removed it

And also this morning the red LEDs are just got a dull flicker happening
