Ok, than can you post me a screenshot of your device manager with opened COM & LPT?

Driver WAS installed manually before opening this thread
If your plugging into a USB 3.0 try plugging into USB 2.0 instead, that's the only way I can get it to work.

A screen shot is worth a thousand words...
Profilux 3.1N eX, 3 PAB 6D, Slave Doser, PLM-ADIN, Vortech Controller, PLM-PWC, Leak detector, 2 LX 6100HV Mitras
Controlling a 150 DSA Peninsula mixed reef.
And how do I determine which USB is 2 or 3?
See if you have a 3.0 controller in Device Manager under the USB controllers. If not, then moot point. If you do you can try different ports. I know USB is supposed to support legacy, but on my computer I have four ports, one is 2.0 and it's the only USB port that allows me to connect to Mitras or Profilux to update firmware.

Thank you very much. Will try that tonight and will provide screenshots as needed.
Thank you very much
USB 3.0 ports usually have a blue plastic connector instead of the black ones of USB 1.1/2.0And how do I determine which USB is 2 or 3?
Of course, it´s not a requirement for USB 3.0 but a used way to differ between the port standards
