Upgrading from P3 to P3 3.1N eX

I am upgrading from a P3 to a P3 3.1N eX and want to know if I can save my settings and sensor data from my P3 and restore them to the new P3 eX? Both units will be using firmware 6.05.

Should be possible. However, the ex-Upgrade doesn´t change any settings nor is there a risk to get problems with the firmware, so normally there is no need to restore the data.

But have in mind: Al Lowe says: "Save often, save early"

Thanks for the help Gunther. The only reason to restore settings versus reprogramming is to avoid having to re-do all of my Vortech settings. I am also replacing one of my powerbars with its PAB equivalent and hope to set my four pump dosser and four channel power bar to occupy channels S1-S8. The new hardware is going to add another level of security with the additional level ports with the leak detection module(s) and pressure switch to shut off the skimmer if it overflows.

I just got my P3 3.1N eX today and discovered that the settings saved from the "old" P3 can not be uploaded or restored to the new P3.1N eX.

So...off to reprogram I go.
