    Default HELP!!!!!!!! Firmware update

    I'm new here. Just got my new Mitra going. I had trouble getting the correct GHL software installed-done.
    Now I can't get the firmware update. Here is where I am now...
    Received error message: Error update can't be started. Reset lamp by unplugging for a few seconds. I did this and was started back over and over again. Device manager states Com 5 which is also what I have put in on step 2. I have even removed the GHL software and reinstalled. The driver was installed with the GHL software. Step 4 of 5 states: The update is in progress. Don't interrupt the update in any case. Please wait until update has been (notice this sentence is not finished). There is no progress bar or anything and the lamp is back on of course since I unplugged and replugged it. And once again I get the Error message update can't be started. Please help.

    Turns Mitras the backlight of display off if you are trying to update the firmware?

    1. Check your device manager for unknown devices.
    2. Try another USB cable and/or USB port.
