    Default conduct sensor

    hello

My sensor for salt gives a strange 00/0 about 392
even if i have calibrate it says 0 and after calibrate its around 400

    value 1 20
    value 2 20

    my other one
    normale salt probe

    v 1 22
    v2 444

    and 3e sensor
    v1 21
    v2 412

    what did i wrong
    or is my sensor broke

Sounds like the sensor or the cable is broken or it´s not plugged in correctly (loose plug or wrong socket).
In any case the value in air is the same as for calibration fluid -> measuring not possible.

If you have two conductivity probes and tested it on second socket with same result then it´s the probe, not the socket.

how can i check of the sensor or cabel or plugg is broken
By visual inspection (look into the plug if the pin is visible and straight) or by mooving the cable to detect a loose contact

An advanced test is to measure with a mulimeter or circuit analyser the inner and outer contact to the measuring pads.
Not connected both wires should have a very low resistance (< 1 Ohm) pad/contact and a very high one (> 1 MOhm) pad/pad or contact/contact

    I encountered a similar problem.

I have two salinity sensors, one before buying, the sensor housing is transparent, and recently bought an appearance have changed. When I bought this new salinity sensors, found Salinity values continue to decline, is still the case after recalibration, eventually it could no longer detect the correct value of salinity. One of my friends also encountered the same situation, but also recently bought salinity sensors. Are these products a problem?

No, there is no general problem with these probes.
