    Default Macna 2013

Great event. Awesome vendors. Was able to FINALLY meet Mathias AND Michael. The Mitras was BY FAR the star of the show.
Kudos to all the organizers of MACNA 2013.

I thought there were many stars like the Puratek controller. Vertex calabra , Al hydra 52.

I wasn't impressed by all the others.
The Vertex has potential, but let's see where it is 6 months from now.
None of the others can do HALF the things Profilux does!!!

I will be honest and try and take my GHL hat off here

The Vertex looks like an ugly brick and has too many built in useless functions (in my view) and was this not supposed to be launched 3 years ago? why do you need to pay for a built in internet access to check general web pages. Surely just linking it to a tablet would have been enough.

The puratek we shall see, not proven yet and costly above GHL and beyond

Ai Hydra - The arrays do not have matching led colours so you get a complete disparity of spectrum across the unit. I was not impressed the all the colours of the LEDS dancing on the tank floor. You also need at least two units to match the GHL Mitras spread which makes them less functional at near the same cost.

Just my personal opinions as a hobbyist.
