    Default Mitras 6200 Mounting...

    Hello,

I currently have a closed hood tank, and would preferrably like to keep it this way, I have drawn up a diagram of what I believe will meet the cooling requirements of the Mitras, and keep the important parts of it in normal humidity conditions.
Could someone please comment on this?

The Mitras unit will sit in the slightly beveled rectangular section

    Beveled section of frame work..

    Thanks in advance,
    Rob

I can't guarantee that the humidity will not become too high for the Mitras

    Hi Matthias,

Thanks for the reply - In this design, the Mitras would sit "on-top" of the hood, with all but the light side of the unit being exposed to the humid environment. The rest of the device will have access to "open air" - I would have thought that with the air flow around it, there would be no opportunity for a build up of humidity inside the unit (or at least not much more than a freely hanging unit.

I am open to suggestions on how I might be able to change / modify the design and staying within the idea that I can continue to run a closed top tank (with the Mitras acting as a portion of the lid)

    Thanks,
    Rob
