    I'm running the software on windows 7 64-bit ultimate without any problems... How did you install it? Did you install in the "compatibility mode"?

    Check this site from Microsoft: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Win...f5f101033.mspx

    Run the Program Compatibility Wizard

    1. Open the Program Compatibility Wizard by clicking the Start button Picture of the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Programs, and then clicking Use an older program with this version of Windows.
    2. Follow the instructions in the wizard.

    If you cannot install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the wizard, browse to the program's setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. The wizard is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.

    To change compatibility settings manually for a program, right-click the icon for the program, click Properties, and then click the Compatibility tab.
    Maybe this will fix your problem :-). I'm currently in the office, but if i'm back at home i'll check my win7-settings. As far as i know i'm running in native 7 - no compatibility mode...

    Hmm, i've checked my setup at home. Profilux Control is running fine on my Win7 64 Intel-Notebook. Maybe it is an AMD 64 incompatibility? In google i can't find much info about this error... Did you try reinstalling Profilux Control?

    as far as I understood the setup has to be run in compatibility mode

    there is one problem: with the first installation the Microsoft MFC libs are installed (besides ProfiLuxControl). If you unistall now only ProfiLuxControl will be uninstalled (MFC will remain) and the new installation with compatibility mode will only have effect on ProfiLuxControl.

    -> uninstall ProfiLux
    -> Force an uninstall of the MFC manually
    -> then install again with compatibility mode
