Default After firmware update failed unit do nothing

I'm in very deep need of help.
I was doing an firmware update 5.16 and the update got interrupted during the procedure of the upgrade. I switched of the power from the unit and when I put the power back on the unit stay death. No light or sign of life.
So first I checked the power supply and this is working correctly. So how do I know if the unit is broken or it has to do something with the firmware upgrade failed.
I hope this is the issue, and when this is the issue what do i need to do.
How can I see it is really the firmware failer or electric issue.

Pleas help because I am really demanded of this computer.

We have good feedbacks on USB-to-serial adapters with FTDI chipset.
Unfortunately there are no informations about this at this adapter.
