    Default Profilux Network Problem

I have a new P3n and updated the new firmware and new control. My problem is when I check the router, the profilux is there and connected. Then within minutes it disconnects. If I unplug and replug the p3 it will connect then disconnect again within minutes. It looks like there's a time out or something. Can someone shed some light. If you need screen shots, let me know.

    Check this:

On the PLC main screen click on:

    • Connection
    • TCP/IP
    • Settings Button (simply 3 dots in a square)
    • Whichever connection you're using (it has a check mark in front of it)
    • Select it (double click to go into EDIT mode)
    • See what you have listed under "Timeout"

I have 200000 in that block and it works great.

Put a large # in this box >>> click SAVE >>>> and give it a try to see if your system stays connected longer now.
    Click

k.. I tried it out. Still the same. I timed how long it stays connected to my network. Max 90 seconds, then it disconnects

Sorry that didn't help you Derek. That was the only thing I could think of to try out. Hopefully someone at GHL will have a better solution for you.
