    Default My Tank and GHL

    Hi guys,

I was asked whether I would share with you my plans for my new tank which will use GHL products.

Currently in the final stages of planning now. Here are some pictures of the plans.

And the heart of the system!

Thank you Matthias for all your assistance on RC with helping to clarify the lighting control situation.

    Updates to follow soon

The first part to the system arrived.

Initial impressions... Wow!! Very nicely built, stylish and large.
Length is 70cm and having this will allow me to clarify stand dimensions.

Great tank!! Your set-up is so clean and organized! I'm going to have to HIDE this thread from my wife or she might "EXPECT" the same approach in my systems!! LOL!

The video you posted on the other thread is AMAZING!!

Thanks for sharing! You're really putting the Profilux to great use too!!

Thanks guys... I have now finally completed setting up the dosing unit.

The amount of programming options/settings are simply unbelievable. It can do a lot more than I ever thought and will keep me entertained/busy for sometime.

    Some pictures of the setup

Here are some screen shots of the various settings for dosing, pumps and my lights. I found the pictures of others very useful so I decided to include some of my own.

This screen shows what days, what time of the day and the amount dosed each time for Alkalinity. It is controlled by Timer2 under processes on the left hand side.

For Calcium. This is the same as above except the dosing of Ca occurs 10mins later and it controlled by Timer3.

For Magnesium. This occurs twice a week and only doses 5ml. Controller by Timer4

This picture shows how I have my x2 Tunze 6105 pumps set up. Very happy with the random flow created. Down the bottom of the picture shows what min/max settings I have programmed for the Tunze. I also shows what its current status is.

Timer1 controls my ATI PM fans. Very useful since I don't need them running 24hrs/day. I let them run for at least 15mins extra after the lights turn off.

This is a cool function. Simulation allows me to set rainy days, passing clouds and the lunar cycle. Wednesday is the 'rainy' day and clouds pass every day.I have changed the cloud simulation to 2% now since it was occurring far to often.

All I need to do now is connect my ATO up. I only have one sensor (float) so hopefully this will be enough.

    Awesome, Andrew!
No problems at all running Profilux control on the MacBook?
