    Default Profilux Controlled New Build

I shut down my last tank about 5 weeks ago due to several reasons.

    Here it is:

    I ordered a replacement about 5 weeks ago, it arrived a week or so ago. Dimensions - 24x24x18(h), Opti-White, Rimless/Braceless with a L/Hand weir.

I've started the cycle using Dr Tim's and used around 17kg of Aquaroche ceramic pieces.

    Current status of the tank:

-Aaron- your tank is going to be amazing. I really like your rockwork.

Indeed your pics are spectacular to say the least. Can't wait to watch this tank come to life

    Thank you Big Al.

I was in 2 frames of mind whether to go with ceramics as a lot of it has the 'cake stand' look, which I'm not a fan of. I have to say the Aquaroche looks nice and to me pretty natural. I can't wait for it to come to life either, I'm gagging to get it cycled.

    Very nice tank.
Think about putting a cover on the tank...
That jawfish will go tile surfing. Have had THREE of them do that!!!!

    Thanks.

I had the opposite experience with mine. All 3 in together, shared the same burrow together, with an open top tank with zero issues. They were in it for 4 months. IMO what you keep them with and when you add them plays a factor in their fate.

They did have a pecking order though.
