    Thanks everyone.

I must say, I'm smitten with the Mitras, I'm starting to get some good growth on some corals. I've added more corals recently as well so hopefully once they settle they'll follow the footsteps of the others.

Now the warmer weather is here I've got a 3 fan breeze on order.

Currently where I'm at, suffering with diatoms over the sand bed. I put it down to the pistol shrimp, doesn't stop digging!

Coming along nicely! Have you noticed any significant colour improvements in your SPS with the Mitras? I had some fags I pick up cheaply a few months back which were either brown or badly bleached and are now starting to get their florescence back.

On the whole I've seen much improvement on the corals that were originally in the tank when I switched the lighting over, apart from one which doesn't want to colour up. It was the same under the Radion, it's a green Digi. I can't understand why, I've got Acropora basing out and growing but this one frag refuses to do anything lol. It has growth tips, just no colour.

THings are ticking over nicely, had to turn the Mitras back down to 60% as they started bleaching an Acro and my plating Monti. An acclamation program would be a welcome addition as it appears I cranked them too quickly. Some pics.

This frag is colouring up, notice the green forming.

Not updated for a while, I had a few issues with the tank. SPS were pale and some browned out. I've put this down to Bio Pearls stripping out too much, my NO3 was never detectable. Also I weren't running the Mitras hard enough, a few corals browned out which is either not enough light or high nutrients. As my nutrients are low it had to be lighting. Things are slowly improving. I've made changes to my lighting program. The corals get a 3 hour 10k blast at 100% when the main photoperiod starts in high output.

I'm not out of the woods, however I'm seeing improvements from this time last month.

    New light schedule is here.
