For a new PropellerBreeze you need the PropellerControl2.1
The 2.5 version was for older versions.

Sorry to hijack but how do you know the difference between new and old versions? (i bought a 4 fan unit second hand)

Are u using use under the tank or for the top.

OK so mine looks to be the order version. I don't have a sump so its running over tank.

the difference was the plug sitze - 2.1 or 2.5mm diameter
the 2.5 was used until 2009
