    Default tunze 6105 clunk noise

i just hooked up my tunze 6105's

when they go from stop to spin they make a clunking noise..every time it powers...

the voltages are set to 3 and 8

now if i set the minimum to 1% instead of 0 it doesnt clunk since it doesnt shut off completely...

is this correct ? do i have the settings right or something else wrong?

    This setting is correct.

Some time ago we had almost the same question in the German part of this forum. In this case, the person contacted Tunze directly
(since this is no problem caused by the ProfiLux) and received some parts from them which has solved the problem. Perhaps this is an idea?

    Hi all,
I recently asked a relevant question to the Reef Central-Tunze support team and they replied that there is no "official solution" to this clanking noise problem for the 6105 pump, as the pump itself hasn't been designed for wavemaking purposes. There is only a workaround solution... (I haven't tried it yet though!)

Here is the link to this thread.

I just found out that larryfl1 has already an answer from Tunze!
