Oh, I thought only GHL staff can become moderators on these forums.
Being an (unremmunerated) user makes your efforts here rather admirable!
Sharing your expertise in complying with the way ProfiLux is set to work is indeed invaluable!

Once again, thank you very much for your support and patience!

    Hi Teo,
Can I please ask what you have accomplished this with. Is it shop produced or manufactured by yourself?
Either way could you please PM me details on how you did this?

    Hi, Antipodes!

It's bought online from the manufacturer. Please let me know your email address, as this is what I get trying to PM you: "Antipodes has chosen not to receive private messages or may not be allowed to receive private messages. Therefore you may not send your message to him/her."

I certainly can, but I think it would be against the policies of these forums (it may be viewed as advertising).
As personal messaging seems to be disabled here, do drop me a line at "t DOT leonte AT gmail DOT com" and I'll reply with the link and any other personal experience info you may need.

I've just been told that a combination of the horizontal oscillation with the various wave patterns generated by ProfiLux leads to an excellent turbulent water flow in the aquarium. Haven't tried myself yet, but it seems logical. If that's true, all the problems induced by using an illumination channel to control the current pumps are gone. No variation of the intensity of the currents along the day, though...
