Generally, PropellerBreezes can also be mounted at horizontal glass edges, if you pay attention that it doesn't get in contact with splash water...

take a look at the photos... do i need the overall width including the knobs to fit between the braces? if so it appears my 4 fan setup is too wide...

do i need a shorter setup?

it doesnt appear anyway to sercurely mount it horizontally....

i guess the other option is to take a vertical piece and silicon it to the tank creating a mounting bracket? i hate to have to do this...

    Hi Larry,

usually the PropellerBreeze is mounted on a vertical glass and then the knobs are above the tank.
The problem is the horizontal glass which is glued on the side glasses of your tank.

Anyway, I am sure you will find a way to solve this mechanical challenge...

but very important: the fans must not be too near to the water surface! Please read the shipped manual regarding this. If you would mount it in a way that the knobs are below the glass this would be definitely to near to the water!

For your safety i would prefere another method to mount it on the top of the water tank. Can´t you fit a vertical Glasstripe on the top to mount the Breeze?

If it was me, I would make 2 brace like this out of acrylic and silicone them on the euro brace like this:

I would then remove the 4 "clips" from each end of the propeller breze and insert the bolt trought the brace
