    Default Download locations

There appears to be a bit of a mess with the file download locations since one of the recent the forum updates.

The new location http://forum.aquariumcomputer.com/downloads.php does not have all of the firmware’s (e.g. Expansion Box, Power bar, Touch etc).
The old location http://support.aquariumcomputer.com/...h/sections.php seems to be out of date (PIII firmware updates till 2013-01-04 12:56)

For example both show firmware version 5.15 but with different dates and sizes
    New ProfiLux3_V515_GER_ENG.zip
    Old ProfiLux 3, 3.1A, 3.1N, Version 5.15 (GER+ENG) <- This one is the BETA

There is also quite a bit of content that is not included on the new location (user guides, firmware change log, all firmware’s etc, flasher tools).
Is it possible to get this cleaned up and provide a single download location that has all of the current firmware for download?

The new download site is linked from the http://www.aquariumcomputer.com website and the new downloads button in the menu of the forum.
The download forum is pointing to the old location Here you will find all downloads

    thanks

    Darren

Hi Matthias, this does not look like it has been cleaned up as yet.

Its been about a month and this does not seem to have been cleaned up.

eg. Touch firmware, expansion box firmware, PAB Powerbar firmware.

Also the positioning of the files is odd in some categories for the new download location within the forum.
Files are included in most cases in the Sub-Categories item if there is one (eg Downloads -> Operating manuals / Bedienungsanleitungen -> ProfiLux 3, 3.1A, 3.1N has the manuals for PIII) and only in Categories if there are no Sub-Categories.

But Control Center and Profilux control software are in the category. There are then sub-categories with no files
eg. Files are in "Downloads -> PC-Software and Drivers / PC-Software und Treiber"

Can the files, either be moved to the sub-categories or the sub-categories removed to avoid confusion.

    thanks

    Darren

This does not appear to have been completed, it has now been over 40 days.

In addition, the ability to see change dates on files/firmware is now much more difficult.
In the previous download location (http://support.aquariumcomputer.com/...h/sections.php), the dates for the latest updated file in each section was listed at the parent level.
This quickly lets you know if there has been a change.

The new structure, provides no such indication, just a number of files count (which is quite pointless once all the files have been moved over).

Will this ever be sorted out?
