    Default PAB Cable

    Hi there,

I'm building a internal network in my house, and hi want to know if i can use CAT6 (Patch cable) to connect the original PAB cable to profilux control.

    This means:

Profilux Control -> PAB Cable to Network Connecter in the Wall (RJ45) -> Network CAT 6 Cable Through the Wall -> PAB Cable to Network Connecter in the Wall (RJ45) -> Powerbar PAB6-D

    This is possible?

    Best Regards,
    Armando Fernandes

    Hi There,
I don't have any PAB systems myself currently. But from all my reading here, this is exactly how it was designed to be used.
Many threads here have stated you can use cat 5 or 6 cable and it is able to be used up to 100 mts, (Same as ethernet).

    I used cat 5e

This is what was recommended to me by aqua digital.....I don't see why cat 6 would not work too because it is same idea just capable of faster transfer but also more money.....cat 5e working good for me.
