Default profilux got wet and now dosnt work

    Hello.

Today my profilux power cord got wet, water dripped directly onto the transformer. i have tried to shake out all the water but it still wont start.

The unit itself didnt get wet, just the transformer pack, right where the 3 prong plug plugs into the transformer.

Is there a fuse somewhere that can be replaced or something?

Has anyone had this happen to them before? has the transformer dried out and started working again?

Does anyone know what i can do?

    Thanks

If it is salt water, throw it out and get a new one.
The salt dries on the components and causes corrosion and tracking.

After our earthquakes I have thrown out a bout 5,000 worth of electronic gear that was soaked with water from the marine tanks.

Even if you get it going, it will only be temporary. It will fail again.

If it is fresh water, and you can open it and dry it our completely, it may work for a while.

As this is for your profilux and important, don't tempt fate, replace with a new 100% reliable power supply!
