    Default GHL needs your help!

We need some beta testers to test our new firmware and ProfiLuxControl!

Although we did many tests during the development it is possible that major software changes cause unexpected problems "in the field", therefore we have to rely on our beta-testers.

The new firmware and the PC-Software has been changed massively, especially the level control has been reprogrammed from scratch.
These changes were necessary in order to prepare ProfiLux for the new flow sensors and level expansion cards.
The new level control gives you more functions and flexibility.
Furthermore an issue with displaying measurement values has been solved (display of wrong values when another unit than the base unit was used, e.g. mg/l instead of % at oxygen).

Since we made huge changes we decided to work in 2 steps:

    1. 5.13 includes all changes regarding the level control, the software for flow sensors and level cards is prepared but not activated yet

    2. after a successful beta-test of 5.13 the support for flow sensors and level-cards will be activated, this will be a new version 5.14

When the test goes as expected we can publish 5.14 at the beginning of next week - then the owners of flow-sensors can finally use them

From now on firmware 5.13 BETA and ProfiLuxControl 5.1.3.0 BETA are available for download, as well as the new programmers guide 5.13 - especially the topics "level" and "settings switch outputs" are of interest

Important: Save all settings and sensor data of your ProfiLux before you perform the update!

Many thanks to all our testers in advance!

the manual override control has been reprogrammed due to adding more security when the connection fails a few versions ago, this is nothing special of this BETA

MarineMad stopped developing the app, this means that the app becomes more and more incompatible with new or changed functions and features in ProfiLux

I assume other than that there are no problems, which are caused by obvious firmware bugs, right?

There is nothing to fix. As Matthias said: The marinemad app is outdated and does not support the last improvements of the firmware.

Due it´s a third party party app and not in responsibility of GHL, there are only two options for you if you want to use it further:
    • Stay at firmware 5.11 and perform no updates anymore
    • Contact the guys from marinemad to change their mind and develop the app further

Stop of the further development only to keep that [zombie] app alive is not an option

Matthias, have not had time to update to the new firmware yet , however in the new firmware can we disable the level control when doing water changers?
