profilux 3 ex lan problem

wat should i fill in as ip and the rest when connect with laptop direct true lan in laptop and profilux?

both devices must be in the same IP number range, e.g. 192.168.1.10 and 192.168.1.11, that's all

so no dns or gateway filled in?

i now tryed in profilux 192.168.1.101 subnet 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1 and dns 192.168.1.1
in profilux control i put 192.168.1.101 port 10001
in laptop i put 192.168.1.102 subnet 255.255.255.0 gateway 192.168.1.1 and dns 192.168.1.1
not working.
ping 192.168.1.101 gives timeout

btw just for your info, this is the profilux we recieved from you as replacement for our broken p2 with the upgrade in march

if you are absolutely shure that you can exclude any issue in your settings and your network then send it to GHL for inspection

ok, will do after my holiday, going to egypt for 2 weeks in 2 days

so now i bought a new router, i connected the lan cable, put in a ip in the profilux and yes its working.
but again after a week or 2 no more acces true lan, ping wont work als.
my new router has a ping option from the router software itself, its a tp-link 2543
i am beginning to loose my trust in the lancard of the profilux.

I thin we add in the new firmware an automatic reset sequence for the LAN once a day
