    Default SMS won't send

    Hi,

I have profilux 3 to which have an a number PAB devices attached including:

    - Powerbar firmware 1.06
    - Vortech controller firmware 1.01
    - Touch firmware 1.02
    - SMS module firmware 3.01

P3 firmware is 5.09. The sms does appear in the profilux control menu.

All appears to be configured correctly (i.e. lights on front are all correct colour), problem is no matter what I try the unit will not send a test SMS.

The sim is new and sends / receives SMS's ok from a mobile phone.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

Did you save and load settings after changing?

Be sure you check box that says SMS transmission enabled under the settings section.
Also what's your SMS service center number? That might be your issue.

I learned that every once and a will you need to take the sim out and in again… and it works again

Sorry Nick. Here goes my thoughts. First. Where are you located?
My SMS service center number starts with +1 and it contains a total of 11 numbers (INCLUDING the number 1).
Also on the SMS unit, does your RED gsm light flashes?

located in Australia. I have dropped the 0 from the mobile number and added +61 which is our country code. I also have 11 numbers in total.
The red light flashes aprox every 3 seconds, which I think is correct?
