if you have a rimless tank here is a modification that can be done

I just got a 2nd hand unit and the person i got it from had cut the wire on the float to make his longer! and its still working fine! just put a pices wire in the middle!

Tho i would wait for a expert reply!

Edit: also just thort as its the same as ps2 mouse and keyboard for the pc you could try a ps2 cable ( e.g http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Cablestar-PS2-...QQcmdZViewItem )

Hope this is aloud to post links like this! if not please delete and i wont do it again! just helping others when i can!

VTN-5 product code and they can be joined together to a max of 4 giving 20 meters!!

For under $15.00 in North America really not worth the trouble of cutting a cable

No way of knowing if it will work, as GHL do not make this.

If you are going to extend any cables use GHL cables, you are then covered by GHL support of something is not quite right, it is impossible to diagnose issues that may arise from thrid party stuff

GHL cables are really cheap there is no reason not to use them really.

our splitter cable for level sensors is not the same as the PS/2 splitter for PCs!!!
If you use this instead serious damages could be the result!

i just recieved my level sensor splitter and it has a picture of a keyboard and mouse right on it. came in a profilux bag ordered from cherry corals so i assume its the right piece except for the statement above telling me otherwise. should i still use it?

If it has a silver sticker with PL-LY written on it they are the supplied splitter
