Yes I can log in on tcp/ip, as well as over the internet through dyndns, that all works fine. So there are no connectivity issues here

Can you put up a screenshot of your settings for the email?
Are you sure it's not going to the spam folder in yahoo? Try sending it to another email, too.
Nothing in Spam either, when I hit the test button, the SMTP server IP comes up as: 98.136.185.95

What I noticed is that under "current smtp served ID", it's all 0's. When I type in the yahoo SMTP, that field populates with the SMTP server's IP address. The fact that it doesn't appear to be filling that in indicates some sort of connection problem, maybe a firewall of some sort?
When I get home tonight (late), I'll check your screenshot against what I have. Do you have a gmail account? If not, I'd suggest making one and seeing if you can get it to work with their SMTP server. (or, just type in their smtp server into that smtp box and see if an IP bounces up"
Set up a yahoo account and it works fine sending mails to my normal account..
What can you use this notification for?
I would like to get a mail from my system on a alarm state and tell me what the alarm is, also a once a day email with the parameters would be nice
Well, search is your friend here. Just did a search for alarm email and this one explains a lot.
4587-Daily-status-email-updates&highlight=email+alarm
This works well.
I think that you should be able to use a timer to initiate a email message with the parameters, but I have not tried this myself yet.
Call me Paul !
Note: I am not GHL staff!
Hi
I am struggling to get email notifications from the profilux
I can connect to profilux from wlan with plc and can get emails from plc but can not get emails directly from the profilux
any advice here?
First you should post your hardware configuration with the currently used firmware version, so we could be able to help...
Profilux 3ex with firmware 5.10
And what about WLAN? The ProfiLux3 don't provide a WLAN connection.
In which way is the ProfiLux connected to the internet?
Which email provider you are using?
Are the LAN settings in ProfiLux set up correct?
???
