EMAIL NOTIFICATION + others

Hello i need some help as in network and pc i have limited knowledge
in the email notification i need some ( don't know the english word thinks) to write
EG
i select new mail i write my gmail as recipient subject and find in here a file about what i need
then it has ip mail server (SMTP ) or domain maileserver GMX.COM
( i read that ghl has test gmx and some other email clients so i will make an account to GMX
under that line it want my name GIORGOS
my e mails EG giorgos@gmx.com
next line curent SMTP blank
and then i clik mailserver authentication i write as username the email and my pass word then save load
CORECT ?? i guess not as i make a test and nothing happen . please some help

AND one other question if i had static external ip to see the status of P3 i need the profilux program the reef stATUS program or this is not posible ??????
AND last somewhere i see that it say about thrue browser check P3 when i enter its ip it open a screen that want username and password passward i know i make under system>webserver >i make a password but Username?????????

Do you talking about the email-notification via ProfiLuxControl (PLC) or the email-notification via the ProfiLux3?

Did you set up you ProfiLux3 LAN settings correctly (PLC->System->LAN...)?

Good morning i write them together for not usind too many space of the fooroum
(it is not me e mail it was an example )
as for the mail i trie on both via pc via profilux but no luck thats why i write my question like this to give me an example as this is an area that i have very limited knowledge
