    Default Moon light simulation algorithm

    Can someone explain the technical background on how the GHL determines moonlight illumination for different phases of the moon?
    I have AI lights and they tend to be pretty bright for moonlight, so I have the different channels at 3%, 2%, and 1%.

    Full moon, obviously all will be at strength. At half moon, I'd assume the 2% becomes 1%, but what about the 3% and 1% ones? I'm guessing the software won't break it down to fractions, so what does it do? Would the 1% become 0% or stay at 1%? How does it handle those fractions?

    Our moon simulation is based on a rather complicated calculation.
