Do you leave your computer turned on at night? If so you could have a small application that runs in the background which at random times sends a query to the GHL computer which starts a thunderstorm.

Imho, I don't want to run a 'full-size' computer to steer an aquarium COMPUTER. I would assume an aqaurium computer can work standalone.

The only thing I want to have running in my house besides my computer is my NAS and one is doing a scheduled shutdown during the night.
