PH Probe night change, how does it work?

I am confused by the night change of my PH and i don't want to kill my fish

For instance; When my normal PH is "7" and i want it in the night to be "7.3".

Do i have to enter "0.3" or "-0.3"?

It has to be 0,3, with -0,3 it would be 6,7...

Tip: after setting the PH value (since it can kill your fish) a confirmation dialog would be good.
"Are you sure you want to do a nocturnal change to PH 6.7?"
