AI offers the ability to upgrade one module at a time. Will this work with the profilux? For example, I have 6 modules that are the old style and I want to send in two to upgrade. Can I run 4 old and 2 new with my profilux II? Thanks!

please ask AI this question - I don`t know it

ProfiLux just outputs a command message in old or new format

Yes Ai should be answering this as it depends on whether the firmware or communication speed on the Ai side are changed in the upgrade. We have no idea what parts are included in this upgrade

IF the firmware or speed has changed then yes you would have to do this all at the same time becuase in teh GHL software you have to tell the controller whether you are using old or new lamps.

Please refer chris to this thread if required.

I just got back one upgraded module from AI. I plugged it into the other modules and they communicate just fine. Thunderstorm/dimming/clouds/moonphase all seem to work great. Only problem is the new module is much, much, much brighter than the old modules. Guess I'll have to start saving for more upgrades!
