Default Setting up AI LED modules

I downloaded the Profilux software last night to try before I receive my Profilux.

I have two modules which I would like to control/

When I select the option for the Aqua illumination units.

It asks me the number of White and Blue LEDS controlled by the illumination channel.

What number do I enter? Do I have to count the total number of separate LEDs of each colour?

I have the also the AI units and running software version 4.0.61
In the settings for the "special lamp" it says:
White LED's are controlled by illumination channel....
Blue LED's are controlled by illumination channel....

The software is actually asking for the channel number and not for the number of LED's.
Put in for the WHITE channel Nr. 5
and for the BLUE channel Nr. 6
I had to put in those channels for some reason which I don't remember exactly but I think it had to do with the 4 Tunze streams I am running and they are on Channel 1-4

    Thanks for the clarification.

    Still a lot to learn.

You will love the Profilux and the software to control the AI modules.
You can do so much more as with the regular controller which comes with the AI.

Now you really can play around with the times you want to have the blues or the whites at a certain percentage.
You can have cloudy, rainy days and the thunderstorm option is way cool.

Just let me know if you need help setting up.

    Thanks for the offer.

So what white and blue intensities do you use?

    Default AI with P3

I just upgraded the profilux last night to Version 3 hardware. I have everything else working but for some reason no matter what channels I set the AI fixture to the Profilux will not control it. Has anyone had this issue after the hardware upgrade?

is this a new or old style AI-lamp?
Maybe the problem is that the AI protocol in the firmware is not matching the protocol of your lamp (AI changed the protocol)

is the COM-interface working at all?

This is the older style lamp, so it should be the same as it was before I did the P3 upgrade.

The com interfaces were working, I do not have a serial port on my laptop so I will be trying a USB to serial converter tonight. The serial cable that I purchase for the PII is the same one that should be used with the P3?

The AI lamps are just always at full brightness, they will not respond to any commands sent from the P3.
