    Default Firmware 5.08 and ProfiLuxControl 5.0.8.0

    is finally ready!

    - new
    - descriptions for sensors and illuminations can be stored in ProfiLux, too
    - new tokens for the use of descriptions in the web interface
    - support for the new ProfiLux Touch
    - support for the new expansion card PLM-pH/Redox (measurement range pH/redox can be adjusted)

    let us first see how it works for illuminations and sensors, if the concept is confirmed to be reasonable we add descriptions for other items in 5.09.

    Bummer, i would have thought that since it was the most requested feature that it would be a done deal. I hate updating so really dont want to do it twice....

    I guess im waiting for 5.09...

    Do you want to remove the PC-stored description and the PII users don't have any description anymore?

    If you don't want the PC-stored description just don't use it.

    you don't have to wait too long, it seems nobody reported major problems with 5.08 and we can go to 5.09 next week
