Default how to , deactivate socket on PH alarm

    Hi,

last year September i had a major fail in my aquarium

due to a over active level control and a limewater ( calcium water ) filling.
half my tank died due a PH value of 12.

last months i still worked without any control on the PH.. and did worked.
My tank looks better then ever.. but now i want to go the safe way

at this moment my Level control is running on a timer so only filled at night when under level.

Now i want to add a PH alarm to it.. so it stops filling limewater when the PH rises to a sertain value.

How do i set this up.. ik have the PH on a alarm.. but how to set the socket to turn off on the level control

    • set ph activity to 'enabled' (you´ve already done that)
    • set up the ph value control values and the hysteresis you want
    • enable and set up the ph alarm as you want
    • set up the socket function of the desired port to 'ph value 1' and 'increase'
    • save it & that´s it.

If you don´t want to regulate but to switch of at alarm, it´s also possible to set the socket to 'ph value 1', 'Alarm' and 'Switching behavior:invert'

This only switch the socket to Ph value
The socket need to switch on Level indication , which is linked to a timer by it self

but turned off on a PH alarm

with the use of logic you can AND together all the input you have
    the ph increase
    the timer
    the level switch

AND between all of them ( in 2 logic steps => since you can only add 2 entries in a logic step )
but you can use logic 1 as input of a 2nd one.

as said before in logic you have increase , decrease or alarm on the probes so you can add the PH alarm in the logic to have 100 % certainty

only one Logical is needed then ( i think )

    Level and PH.
because the timer is already assigned in Level ATO

For now i created these settings, which i am going to test on a free socket

The timer you indicate is the max on time ( if the level hasn't toggled it will give an alarm , it has nothing to do with a timeframe when it can run)

since he wants to run it @ night he needs a timer to run it then

The timer i indicate is programmed to turn on ( or not if level is oke ) every hour for 10 minuntes after 22:00

Yes the max ontime is also programmed there ,( but not just that )

    Yeah i got it working!

    its like i thought..

Level contol as it was ( on the timer )
and PH on a alarm 8 PH with 0,5 as Alarm

A programmable Logic Water 1 AND PH value 1 ( inverted in my case )

on the socked where the level pomp is connected this programmable Logic ..

just tested this.. works like a charm!
