Default I happy with my profilux 3 but did you see ....

Vertex Cerebra Aqaurium management system ???

IF they can deliver. GHL/Profilux might have a nice challenge ahead of themselfs
it seems to have a nice lead in cpu /ram power etc...

Well its still useless if the software/firmware is useless

    anyway GO GO profilux !!!

I am confident, this may eventually yield some useful »inspiration« für GHL

I just looked at the specs of this unit and it may offer a couple of additional items to the Profilux, but I reserve any comparison data until their final product is released.

    However!
Costs of individual modules could quite easily make this unit costly overall as the Profilux has a lot of sensor readings on board.
Using USB to connect modules is limiting the amount of distance you can place these away from the main unit, so remote tanks cannot be accessed?
Just a real quick look and note on some things I spotted straight away.

But as Ganesh has said the offering of some of this additional technology will also be followed (or preempted before) by GHL, who have a solid product and always seem to have plenty of additions in the pipe line.

At this time, I feel safe putting my animals in the care of GHL's gear.
    Call me Paul !
Note: I am not GHL staff!
