Using a Level sensor without max on time?

I have setup an AWC system with a level sensor at the new water reservoir. In case there is no water there no change is performed. But after the max-on time I get an alarm. Is it possible to use this level sensor without an alarm?

Also is there a way so that an inexperienced person in the house can reset an alarm?

You can set the timeout to 0 then the alarm will be disabled
