Will it be possible to use a powerline adapter to access the PIII over the network?
I can image that a lot of PIII users won't have an ethernet connection available at their tanks, so network using electrical outlets would be a solution.

This sort of connection has proven to be quite unreliable, the last thing you want is the frustration of your profiLux going offline everytime you turn the coffee maker on.

The better option would be to install a wireless bridge and put the ProfiLux on network with your home wirelss router.

both is possible: Ethernet over Power (EoP) or a wireless bridge

-> this is independant from the hardware, this also works already with PII

I have two questions regarding the P3 and/or P3 upgrade:

    The function list states:

    1) "Illumination control for dimmable (1-10V-interfaces or DALI) and non-dimmable lamps...".

Does this mean the P3 does NOT require the PLM-DALI expansion card?

    2) "4x 1-10V-interfaces with additional shut-off signals, dimmable electronic ballasts can be turned completely powerless at 0%..."

Does this mean the P3 does NOT require the Profilux EVG-AP-2F Ballast Control Board?

    Thanks!
