Default Profilux 3 ex malfunction after black out

Please somebody explain to me how is possible that after a black out during a stormy day the Profilux switch on again without returning to the correct function but remaining like blocked with blinking display with no data and without making direction of the external units.
    Thank you

maybe overvoltages or other disturbances occured during or after the powercuts and maybe damaged the ProfiLux and/or the power supply

Thank you Matthias but the fact that later the plug of power supply was manually cut and again turned on and the system till that time is working fine means that the system didnt carry any damage or not???

it seems the P3 and the power supply aren't damaged

the P3 has a reset circuit to ensure that the P3 restarts after a power cycle (as it happened now after you manually cut the power)

maybe a surge or many power cycles in a few seconds disturbed the system and the electronics were "confused"

-> many customers connected an UPS or at least a protected socket outlet
